2023 Calendar

Throughout the year, we offer a variety of social events and opportunities for residents in Area I to connect with each other and embrace the Youbou experience. Sometimes we partner with other agencies, such as the Cowichan Valley Regional District.

Load up at the fire station for breakfast, then join us for The World’s Shortest Parade, including the YCA float. As the regatta heats up with swimming races, chalk art contest, watermelon eating frenzy, and belly flop competition, visit our YCA booth to see how you can join the fun in Youbou.

    Haunted House and Fireworks

Scare yourself silly with the ghouls and gore at our annual haunted Youbou Hall. Or, cheer on the entrants in the costume contest downstairs. Young ones can try crafts at the YCA haunted pumpkin patch. Our volunteer firefighters wrap up the evening with a finale of frightful fireworks.

  • November 25

    Youbou Holiday Craft Fair

Wrap up your holiday shopping by stocking up on the creative wares at the annual craft sale. The YCA is serving breakfast, lunch, and beverages to stoke your browsing energy.

    New Year’s Eve Dance

Ring out the old and dance in the new at the Youbou Community Hall. We pull out all the stops for this annual extravaganza.
